Comics owes much to grammar. After all, wordplay supplies the medium with a hearty percentage of its gags. Without rules to break, there would be no puns, malapropisms or other forms of confusion weaponized for comedic effect. That's why on this, National Grammar Day, we salute the systems that standardize and bind written (and, fine, verbal) communication! We simply can't do it without you, grammar. Or Grammer.
