Topping up his tan for the winter months. NB: Sun-books come with a health warning not to expose for more than 10 seconds, and not to stand within 20 meters.

Reminds me of the Addams Family, a literal reading rainbow, except that it is the sun

We received more than 9 inches of rain from Hurricane Irma from Sunday night through Wednesday morning. Here in

“The Beautiful and Soggy South Carolina Low Country”

It’s called the Low Country for a very good reason. It used to be under the ocean (all the way up to almost Columbia) back in the “Cave-man” days.

    Charleston, SC, floods

that we have a high tide and a little afternoon shower. With 2/3’s of a foot of rain, there was sewage being forced out through the man-hole covers.

This is why Hubby and I live just about at the top of a hill in our neighbourhood. In our neighbourhood, the lowest house’s roof top is lower than our foundation. And you couldn’t PAY either of us to live in downtown Charleston! No, we live between Summerville and Lincolnville. Close enough to visit, much less expensive than to live there.

Too bad our standards are now so low that the obscene term “suck” is used as if it were acceptable.
