    Of course we all know there’s no such thing as “talking black”. But who has all day to be explaining concepts like regional dialect divergence and code switching over and over?

    Is there a “Hooked on Phonics” CD for that? Or, can we buy the same thesaurus that rappers use when they write their lyrics?

    I know that Hemmingway was going through some kind of phase like this when he wrote “To A.A.V.E and to A.A.V.E. Not”…
