Adam: Okay, everybody, here we go! Road trip!
Clayton and Katy: WOO HOO!
Adam: Ten hours together. It's a great time for us to bond. No distractions. No interruptions. Just us!
"19 minutes later"
My thought also: Who’s that monkey in the middle? When I I realized that this was supposed to be the baby. Doesn’t look like him and he’s had one hell of a growth spurt.
I can’t say that I ever remember my Dad asking for directions but he did make a wrong turn on a trip to Kansas once…..we ended up in a place that wasn’t on the map…and we hadn’t gotten out of Nebraska yet.
i lived in california then and took a trip to reno nevada one weekend, went to fill up and asked the attendant at the station about the odd even gas days, he had no idea what i was talking about

Ten hours together is going to be the true test of whether or not they’ve bonded!

I hope Adam isn’t trying to read the map while he’s still driving!

bald, Adam’s a guy so he doesn’t need directions? That explains how they got lost so fast!!!

RRAmom, I don’t think anyone else in the vehicle would notice. People in other vehicles might though.

The babe looks big because he’s in a car seat. Shouldn’t mom be reading the map, instead of a book?

I remember a road trip we took in the 70’s during the odd-even gas days. We coasted into Houston on fumes as it wasn’t our gas day.

Looks like the perfect road trip- so far, everyone is smiling. Adam’s just doing the male-thing: “I don’t need help, I’m a male!”
@ somebodyshort- It’s just you! No mustache. It’s a finger.

MY WIFE WOULD BE TELL ME WHERE TO GO INSTREAD OF READING @ IF I HAD TO I COULD WHIP OUT MY CELL PHONE WITH A GPS ON IT

GPS moniters are not fool proof. I’ve had a few motorists stop and ask for directions because their GPS got them lost!
