Well, at least Gumbo had fun.

A few years ago, Adam and Laura had decided that Katy was too young to have her own phone. And now she has one! Perhaps the kids ARE growing up in this strip—or that Katy just kept whining until her parents backed down. Don’t be surprised if she finally gets that pony!

With that snow on her muzzle, folks might think Gumbo has rabies.

Is that an antique viewer she’s playing with?

Okay, so there’s no indication of who’s providing the offscreen voice, but if this is some rare adulting/parenting going on here, then it must be Laura. OTOH, it could just be Clayton filling the void, I suppose. Or maybe it actually is Adam. Hahahahahaha! Okay, yeah, it’s gotta be Laura or Clayton.

What is it with dogs and snow? I have a dog (by ‘dog’ I am not referring yap dogs. You know what I mean.) who would rather walk in a two-foot deep snowbank than on a plowed sidewalk.
