Our store has always closed at midnight, people ask all the time when we changed our hours

After a massive remodel a few years ago when everything in the dairy department moved except the butter, people complained for months about us moving the butter

After the store closes, they are no longer customers.

    Do what you may.

When I was kid, there was a small store nearby that had a sign that said something like. “After 8:00 p.m. customers become trespassers.” When they switched to closing at 9:00, they should have updated the sign…

There were repeat shoplifters at the K Mart where I worked. We always caught them as they were leaving the store. They never figured out how we did it. It was simple: they always wore the same clothes. Criminals can be very stupid.

I wouldn’t want to be locked in a store with Tabby when she’s off the clock.

When I worked at a pet store, we had some real gems. Those lovely people who decided they would come in 10 minutes before closing to buy a bunch of fish, a bird, or some other animal. Of course, then they needed to buy the tank, cage, supplies, etc. to go with it. Sigh…Then, we would all be stuck, the cashier, the manager, etc, along with the specialty person. Never failed that we would be held up an extra 30-45 minutes. I guess the manager didn’t have the okay from higher ups to tell the customer it was too late. It really sucked.
