I pay reasonably close attention to politics, but I am hard pressed to recall ANY Veep besides Cheney (and see how that worked out?) that displayed such skills WHILE Veep. Isn’t their function to be secondary?
So much complaining about Biden being incompetent from this strange comic podium seems you are hoping he may step down. There’s you new leader, and she is actually quite ready to be the first woman President in US history.
She may have been better off as a senator. When you think about the 11 presidents, only 4 of their VP had any political future. 2 of those made president because their boss either dies (LBJ) or resigned(Ford). Once you’ve been VP it seems there is nowhere to go but up and that is difficult.
All I can say for her is that the Vice Presidency doesn’t give anyone a chance to really shine – unless you have a do-nothing President like Dubya Bush of course.

The Media is NOT supposed to be friends with politicians. They can’t be if they are to tell the public the truth.
That is why Rupert Murdoch’s rags will never be capable of expressing real news.
That is why Hannnity will lie to his audience about the ( Peaceful protest at the capitol ) and be pleading with Trump to call off his violent thugs

I guess Dan Quayle, Mike Dunce, and Caribou Barbie were outstanding examples of superb leadership in Goodwin’s book.

No modern VP is allowed to outshine the President they serve.

Goodwyn believes that media organizations ARE and SHOULD BE ‘friends’ of politicians.
And that politicians SHOULD BE elected by dark money.
