    Dirty Three?

    The Tennessee Three

(I represented one of the members in a lawsuit against him by an agent – while the jury was out the judge got a guitar from his office and they picked and grinned – never enjoyed sweating a jury before or since)

Going way back to the brief time when folk music ruled, there is “The Big 3,” which consisted of Tim Rose, Jim Hendricks, and a woman who went on to greater things, Cass Elliot. One of their best known tunes is “The Banjo” song, a version of "Oh Suzanna, the tune of which was used by “Shocking Blue’s” hit “Venus.”
