How is Andy going to cough up £20 18p for Charlie?
A pre-covid friend in debt, is easy to forget!
@Number Six Today’s strip IS funny < the way our HERO Mr Andrew Capp changes the subject in his favour is priceless :o) my avatar again is a picture of our fav actor Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean grinning because he’s in a good mood like I am, how was your day ours should be busy but we will cope I hope , we both are in a good mood , no shopping or errands to run, just stay inside he house and keep hydrated because it’s windy outside, keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady.
Knowing Andy, that will be 30 18 in a few minutes.
Well, Andy, apparently not all old folks like you have bad memories I guess
Two old codgers discussing the state of the world etc. when one asks “When was the last time you had sex?”
“1955”, was the response…
“OMG, you’ve had no sex, since 1955?”
“What are you making such a fuss over. It’s only 23:45 now.”
How’ this, Charlie: 20 punches and 18 kicks to that worthless bum!!
Unlike Andy (who has lots of practice), Charlie doesn’t forget.
Anyone who lends money ever expecting it back is a bit of a soft touch. Or just touched. IF you get it back be happy.
Never lend any money to anyone. That is why they have banks.
Then Andy says “Who are you?”.
99 percent of Andy’s conversations.
Well Charlie, I am sure Andy would much prefer to owe you than cheat you out of it. Of course they are one in the same.
On this side of the pond that’s US $25.42 at today’s exchange rate.
I wonder how long “still” has been then?
I was going to go to Starbucks with my cousin today (I have never been there before) but now it’s been arranged for Saturday because of other commitments.
That app I told you about that counts my steps. It’s showing a big fat zero at the moment because I haven’t been out today, I wanted a day in because I’m at my volunteering tomorrow. Also at KFC as well!
Last Wednesday, I bought myself a Weetabix Breakfast Drink (Chocolate) and my goodness! It’s my new favourite thing. It’s delicious when it’s cold. Here is a link to it but I didn’t buy it from Tesco, I bought it at my local Post Office/Newsagents for £1. I hope they have it available tomorrow! Please keep your fingers crossed.
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.
Sometimes I wish it was still 2018. At least there wasn’t a pandemic back then.
If this is a rerun, he would have, owed less to make the joke work, originally.
