just learned about Quiet Quitting, seems thats what they call it when people are just “phoning it in”, or only doing the minimum to meet the job requirements. seems it is a new word for something that has been going on forever. A lot of times the employer will create competition between different teams to encourage the employees to “go above and beyond”. this doesn’t seem to be working anymore? maybe the incentive is not there?
