“The Saga of Dr. Dark”(30) 1/13-14/2018
Dr. Dark is making preparations to leave. However he also wants to set up a team of young, white-hot programmers and crackers of systems. After reading about Stuxnet, he sees paths to making a fortune and better, to make changes to this world to better fit his likes. A means of accumulating all the fractional e-money would be workable. Every small partial bit of a cent or its equivalent among all the currencies including Bitcoin and the like they now have. (The Vampire Nation to come. He will be involved in that as well. We saw some of it in Alternate Alley Oop around 2012-2013 stories.)
He has money, though a bit out of date. It shouldn’t be too much trouble to hand them in to a bank for new currency. By the use of controlled protoplasmic reversion he can change his facial contours. Even his eye and hair color. His skin color will have to stay for the time being. (His attempts have proven to be spotty in ways that would attract attention.) Now digital circules aka finger prints are a tad harder, even for him since he would change it for the finger tips only. He will have to see the lay of the underground land of criminals to see which syndicates to manipulate and those in policing and FBI too. Recruitment of hacker-cracker teams will also take time. However the more he learns the faster he can accomplish it. And one thing hasn’t changed in the centuries he has lived is that humans are still human in behavior.
Also make up too. His homonculi need to give themselves a more human appearance. Their stark white skins may stand out. Some of his homonculi can alter their appearances in a form of protoplasmic reversion much easier than he can. They were in fact designed for it. Dr. Edvard Pretorious (1852-1900) was successful at creating them. He learned how to and met the real Frankenstein, the electro-alchemist of life.(Part of a secret society of alchemists and esoteric scientists. Still around as late as 1959.)
Oh shoot, oh heck, oh darn

You got it, Tin Man!
Sounds like Gronk! is the sound of the mechanical parts while moving. But “Snort!” is the mechanical beast’s way of choosing it’s first victim!
