The origin story of my marriage: My parents were working on starting a new business. Both were working to get the capital they needed. I’d had a pretty good part time job (still in school but ready to start college) and had a car. I was driving to pick my dad up from his job since mom had their car. Some paying attention to his friends at a gas station kid rides his bike out in front of me. Almost got stopped. Tapped him enough to knock him over. Got his name as he pushed his bike in hasty retreat. When I told dad about it, he said I had to report it to the cops. They said “We know who that is” and told me where he lived. While talking to his mother, his older sister walked into the room. Long story short: we’re still married 50+ years later.

Ah, young love! Sometimes it lasts; sometimes it doesn’t. But, while it’s happening, it’s the best.

I hope JJ keeps this story line going.
