Reminds me of me with my cat the last few years he was around. He’d sleep so still, I couldn’t see his chest move with his breaths.

Hey, when a spouse has AFib you are concerned. Sometimes they aren’t breathing.

I came in the bedroom once and my husband’s feet and lower legs were sticking out of the bathroom door. Turned out he was working on something under the sink and was fine, but I almost had heart failure thinking he had died in there. This was 30 years ago when he was young and healthy. So Janis wasn’t overreacting. Just kinda freaked out.

Janis would make a good nurse. Seems that she has the skills to wake someone up out of a sound sleep to give them meds prescribed to help them get a sound sleep.

I tend to sleep with my head under the pillow and my spouse is constantly poking me to be sure I’m still alive. It’s quite irritating.

She is practicing to be a nursing home staff waking people up to tell them to go to bed of to take their sleeping pill.

I love it – mouth, drooling and the tongue licking it up.

Hubby always falls asleep in the recliner while reading. It is a bit disconcerting to find him with the book in his lap and his mouth hanging open. Sometimes he is so still that it does frighten me, especially given our ages.

Since my wife and I both snore it’s the neighbors that would worry over the extended quiet.

I check on my husband when he naps but I usually just watch him breath instead of waking him up or making a loud noise.

The best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep

at least she cares…she worries…she’s concerned. I’ll be dead in my own house for a WEEK before my wife would notice.

This is why I snore. As long as I’m snoring, I’m alive. If I stop snoring, THEN check on me.

She’s just making sure he doesn’t have plus signs for eyes…

I’m surprised he didn’t slide right off the couch with the way he is positioned on it. I’d have quite the backache.

Personally, I find this “gag” tiresome and lazy. Arlo is in good health, yet Janis seems to have to check if he is dead at least once every 6 months. Sure, it can certainly happen, but a repeated strip about it is not necessary.

Or a log being sawed.

One of these days the response will be no response.

Some people sleep so soundly you can’t wake them up.

September 29, 2011 she had to collect the Z’s to get some sleep herself. So I guess she was expecting them!
