If you’re blissfully walking alone in the forest and you suddenly see a tiger behind a tree, doesn’t it appear that there are tigers behind every tree? 8^ )

This really Bugs me.

I saw a meme the other day that said: 2022 was wild since it was the year of the tiger. I’m sure 2023 will be much more tame since it’s the year of the rabbit. The photo was of the killer white rabbit hopping by a pile of skulls from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. :-D

2023 is Wabbit season?

When I go for walks I see dozens or rabbits

If I saw dozens of tigers, I wouldn’t be going for those walks

Tiger in every garden saves the lettuce from being eaten by the wabbits.

For tigers: Shere Khan, Tony the Tiger, Hobbes, Tigger.

For rabbits: Bugs Bunny, Thumper, Peter Cottontail, The Velveteen Rabbit, the Rabbit of Caerbannog, Roger Rabbit, the White Rabbit, the Energizer Bunny, Brer Rabbit, and then just plain Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh.

That last panel? The tail looks like Hobb’s tail, from Calvin & Hobbs.

when i was 12, i made my parents take me to see Jack Benny live and he had his entire tv show cast with him, including Mel Blanc…i saw Bugs Bunny live

I would rather have seen Hobbs as the tiger.

If there were that many tigers, there would be far fewer crazies and hoverrounds on the street. Tigers get hungry.

I think I spy a Hobb’s to Arlo’s inner Calvin! Is there anything Freudian in Arlo imagining Hobbs jumping Janis? Is there an implication that Janis is a former “Bunny”?

The China Pavillion at Epcot had a display on Shanghai Disneyland that included a Lunar Zodiac made up of Disney characters. Did have to dig into the Paul Bunyan segment of a Wonderful World of Disney episode to get Babe for the Year of the Ox.

Hobbs doesn’t attack unsuspecting gardeners…he eats tuna!
