The gaslighting continues

Anyone who wants the cashews can have them. That aftertaste gets me every time. Yuck.

I pulled them out one type at a time.

Man, that is so me. And my mother knew I was the culprit.

They put too many cashews in is closer to the truth.

As they both seem to enjoy cashews, it’d be simpler to buy a container of only cashews.

One of these days he’ll cashew…

That would be me and Brazil nuts. Read that down in Brazil, they call them just ‘nuts’.

I am that way about pecans in there and way too many almonds.

Finally, someone addressing the real issues! I had made the same observation last weekend

I’m odd I guess because I prefer the peanuts, although pecans are my favorite. Also, if you have never seen how a cashew grows, you should look it up, it’s different and interesting, and also in the poison ivy family.

That is me, steal the cashews leave the almonds.

Janis is taking no accountability for her cashew theft….what other secrets does she have???

I’m one of the seven people in the world that dislikes cashews. Not fond of macadamia nuts either. Peanuts, pecans, walnuts and hazelnuts for me.

Hope he doesn’t cashew doing that.

I would never do this. Oh, who am I fooling, I do it all the time.

She seems like the type who’d pick the marshmallow bits from the Lucky Charms and callously leave him the boring bits.

I do that…lucky for me my wife does not like cashews!

Look at the ingredients. The first item listed is the most in the can. Then the next item the next less…

I have noticed Brazil nuts have all but disappeared from deluxe mixed nuts. Lucky to get more than one in a can.

Those nuts make me sneeze. CHASHEW! Gesundheit.

Cashews are my favorite. I just ordered some cinnamon cashews thst will be arriving Tues … csn’t wait!!!

I don’t eat many nuts so my wife can eat whatever and whenever she wants.

WE had a guest once that picked all the cashews out of the bowel of mixed nuts.

Almonds seem to dominate. I would like to mix my own.

No they don’t. They are more expensive, so they are further down the ingredient list. And unless you get “deluxe” they are mostly peanuts.

I probably drove my stepdad crazy doing the same thing. He used to buy cases and cases of Coca-Cola. In 1991 Coke ran a contest where they would put two inch Compact Discs in random cases of Coke, so I went to where he was storing the extra case to feel for a slightly thicker side that might have the CD. My parents didn’t even have a CD player anyway. I finally found one, probably the best one of the group, featuring a collection of more modern rock-ish artists from Sony Music. But I re-glued that case and others in my search for the prize, and he wound up having to open those cases from the other end. Oops.

Thanks to being able to look up the discs from Discogs I can now listen to the other songs from the other discs. I especially like listening to the artists from the hair metal disc.

I can’t tolerate cashews, so I’d split the can with Janis or anyone that likes them

Here’s point – cashews, like “peanuts” are not really nuts in the truest sense – they both are just plant SEEDS. so what, you may think – so are any nut. … but according to definition they are not truly “nuts”, and, to me, words matter…

AFAICT, there are more cashews in today’s mixed nuts than there were 30 years ago. I luv ‘em, so I’m not complaining.
