My hubby’s memory may be spotty, but he remembers dates well.

Due to Aunty’s cutting sarcasm, if Walt doesn’t remember something important, it might be ‘Doomsday’ for him.

Um. Friday?

I used to surprise my wife with cards and gifts for no reason at all. All I really had to do was catch the big ones: Christmas, birthday, anniversary.

It’s harder to do now since we are both retired. So, I’ll kidnap her for lunch every now and then.

So, who’s got the power?

Calendar app really comes in handy for such things

Aunty, what we remember when you ask that is that we don’t care.

I guess there’s something to be said about being single, you don’t have to worry about those mind traps. Of course being retired and of advanced age it’s hard enough to remember what day of the week it is.

When the wife pulls that on me I have the deer in the headlights look. I actually keep important dates on the calendar on my phone, no surprises.

Trash day?

at his age, ya better be careful, Auntie!… (unless, um, he’s got a good life insurance policy, that is!)
