when I was a kid I once treated my mom as “your majesty”…. that was until she threatened me to chop my head off. Needless to say it was the end of it.

That spoiled brat deserves to be punished but I have a feeling Hammie’s suggestions will be a bit drastic.

This makes Hammie’s day for Zoe’s punishment.

Still say nothing will happen in the end. It never does for Zoe, which is why she’s such a brat.

The most effective punishment for kids like this is take away things they love…..games, toys, TV, etc and restricted to their rooms, after all games etc are removed!

Even at my snippiest, I cannot imagine calling my mother Her Majesty; it completely boggles my mind.

Ground her take away her phone and the charger.

I mean, Zoe is heading into tweenhood, I’m not surprised she’s pushing boundaries!

Maybe try asking Zoe what’s up instead of going straight to punishment. Sometimes kids like to test boundaries for the heck of it and need to be told gently but firmly that it won’t get them anywhere, but sometimes they just need to be heard
