    Missed to opportunity to show the kid how to find the North Star.

    Draco, like the Dipper and Cassiopeia, is always near Polaris, but is really dim, long, and hard to find, so it seems odd that he would spot it at all.

    DIfferent cultures have seen different shapes in the stars and therefore have different traditions for constellations and the people/deities/objects they represent.

    I think Carl Sagan mentioned this (in Cosmos?) and then went on to point out that it would be equally valid for us to come up with our own constellations based on our own culture, rather than using those that were documented thousands of years ago.

    So Hammie and Daryl are not actually wrong. It’s just that the constellation of “Al” isn’t very well known at this time.
