Looks like the start of an Erma Bombeck column. I miss her family humor.

Hammie imitating a dog and pulling Wren in a clothes basket is cute and something big brothers do. Zoe on the other hand with the whip is not as it is her normal self of being overbearing and mean to Hammie.

Wanda, write what you know. It may not be pretty, but write what you know. Remember the success of Captain Underpants.

Bill Cosby got rich telling stories about parenting. Still some of the best comedy ever created. Go for it Wanda.

I think the point is supposed to be “In the middle of the summer, why are they pretending to be in the snows of Alaska?” Well, it’s one way to cool off.

I find it’s a mix of what I know and what I wish I knew when I’m writing.
