Rule #1, never take your kids along when shopping for school supplies; too many new gigits and gagets targeting you youngsters. Go in the evening and let hubby, grandparent, or a babysitter watch the kids. Been there – done that!

Good idea, but Target is wise to this — that’s why they put the school supplies at the far corner of the store, so you have to avert your eyes through the entire store to get there.

Putting ALL the fattening snacks by the check out lines so you’ll throw “one last thing” in.So effective it’s downright evil.

These kids have never been in a store before?

Impulse purchase marketing at it finest. Make the kids travel the mine field of snacks, toys, and goodies to get to the dreaded school supplies.
