Dad wanted y’all to start cleaning your rooms after sunrise.

Dumbkid Donuts

I don’t do coffee house coffee often, but when I do it’s all about the caffeine. My usual order is 4 ristretto shots (Less water more caffeine) over ice with about 8 pumps of syrup. It does a pretty good job of waking me up when I need it.

What would he have done if the microphone was dead and he had to go inside?

Maybe Darryl should consider getting a deep fryer to make donuts at home. We used to have home made donuts when I was a kid.

If they do have them, Garfield will be right there!

Dad was to tired to check if they actually cleaned the room

Sometimes my husband will bring home donuts on his way home from work. He knows what we each likes (he has a note in his wallet) so that we each have 3. Mine are lemon-filled, maple frosted, and glazed.

Six donuts for a family of five. Risky move, dad. Risky move.

Glazed? Yuck. Get anything else. Especially chocolate.

Darryl did check that their rooms were properly cleaned before getting in the car, right? Zoe’s definitely smart enough to take advantage of his tiredness in the morning, and the others would absolutely go along with it once they realized donuts were involved.

Looks like someone has lost control of their life!

Whoa! Hold on there. We didn’t get to see if they really cleaned up their rooms or just stuffed everything in the closet or under the bed. Child tactic #1 – strike when the parents are off guard.

Pre dunked donuts. Coffee or milk?

My mother used to make doughnuts at Christmas every year. I remember the minimum yield was about 10 dozen. A big treat was when she would fry up some of the holes to munch on right away.

Why does Wren have her blankie?

There probably ARE espresso-filled donuts.You’ll have a hard time finding a filling somebody DOESN’T have.

Wren is just following everybody else,she doesn’t know WHAT’S going on.

Did he check to make sure that they did clean their rooms?

That was Wanda that promised the kids he would do that.

Wait, the kids cleaned their rooms that early? I don’t think so.

Sometimes I used to go out early Sunday mornings with my father to get the Sunday newspapers—-and in those days, nothing, I mean nothing, was supposed to be open in New York on a Sunday morning. Had to go far afield sometimes.
