Hammie and Zoe are getting old enough for ping-ping, so why not set that up.

And, many have rooms of unfinished crafts.

Are Darryl and Wanda old enough to have been tap dancers? I usually think of that as a 1930s thing.

My family has horseshoes, sewing, surfing, and, sadly- gardening.

You name it, and we tried it.

You plan to enjoy a hobby, and life gets in the way!

ping pong tables are for collecting laundry, old mail, and dust.

Why so many abandoned hobbies?

My wife stays busy with her crafting and has a room devoted to her card making craft. She makes cards and donates them to an organization which sends them to hospitals for the nurses and others to give kids on their birthdays, Christmas, etc. She makes cards for the widows at church and sends them out on their birthdays, some holidays, etc.

I can just see Hammie with that hockey stick.

Remember Gnip Gnop game? That was ping pong spelled backwards.

Are these Wanda and Darryl’s abandoned hobbies or Zoe and Hammie’s lost interest activities? I recall Zoe taking dancing lessons and Hammie Karate lessons and playing hockey.

Ah yes, but they were so much fun while they lasted. And… ooh, hey, let me have that. See you in an hour.

I abandoned a lot of hobbies when I was young, but I’d say since my mid to late 20s or so I’ve been pretty good about sticking with them.

I can hear it, Kerplunk!

Life’s most treasured memories are about experiences, not posessions.

Kids will have lots of different hobbies/interests, it’s all part of growing up Wanda and Darryl.

Now show us the room of discarded appliances and miracle cures. As seen on TV!

With Hammie I don’t think so. Darryl is much closer to the truth.

There’s a new sport there somewhere.

One of these day’s I’m gonna buy a new guitar—-I figure it’d be a gross indulgence, but, when I look at the prices for a good guitar, I’m put off by how gross the indulgence is.

Black belt? What kind? 3rd degree?
