At almost 65 years old, I recently tried squid for the first time, as part of a dish that contained various kinds of seafood. I found it to be rubbery and flavorless (well, maybe the ink would have given it some taste, but that wasn’t part of the recipe). Glad to discover I haven’t been missing anything.
