Around here, tastes better than ground water.

DASANI® water any one?

The annoying part of the Virus. I have to remind many places (including hospital!) that if you ask for water it is free! (Most of the USA.) I bring my own container and everything! I get growled at!

Pet rocks making a come back?

The water is free.

The purchase price is for the futuristic container they call “bottle” made out of this transparent space-age stuff they call “plastic”.

And while We’re AT it, “Mr.Pessimist:”

1) Why do We “pay” each year for land and property that We already own, in the form of taxes?

2) Or if you hold a mortgage on a house or buying a car, boat, or plane on time, that YOU have to pay the taxes on items that technically, you don’t even legally OWN yet. and not the lenders, the REAL owners?

3) How come if the You owe the Government money they charge You interest? But if the Government owes YOU money, it’s paid interest free?

I’ll Wait……, :)

Why would Wiley, of all people, be selling water?

I don’t understand why my coffee tastes like mud. It was ground today.

After being on nill by mouth for what seemed forever in hospital I still can’t stand the taste of water, bleach!

There are a few Pizza Parlors down South that import NYC water to make their Pie Crust from.

It’s bottled tap water.

Looking at this strip today – B.C. is now a tiny guy, and Wiley is a huge moose of a man… :=P

About once a year I get a dozen bottles of FIJI water. After they’re empty, I keep them filled from the tap and in the fridge door. Nice, cold water anytime. But then, our tap water is pretty good…

I see his point, but Diamonds are forever. Right?

Just like the people who complain about gas prices then go and blow $8.00 or so on 6 ounces of coffee.

This analogy only works if you package that rock in something that damages the planet!

I still believe that a little elderly couple in Schenectady NY sit in a bathtub and fill those plastic bottles with tap water and supply the big companies that sell it as pure spring water! ;o}

But then again, many of those rocks aen’t small enough to throw.

(wonders about whether the “BOTTLED WATERS” mentioned in the cartoon were for sale or not)

But, but, WATER IS FREE! Practice what you preach!

Marketing. It’s everywhere, and treats us as fools. Sometimes deservedly so.

If P. T. Barnum was alive today, he would be selling water….

I remember when bottled water came out – I said “What? Who’s going to pay for a bottle of WATER?? That won’t ever catch on.” HeeHee I said the same thing about CDs replacing record albums.

In Flint, Michigan, they ask “Leaded or Unleaded”?

Don’t forget to pay for a subscription to have someone show you how to ride your stationary bicycle…

And don’t forget: commercials at the movie theater and on PBS. Or advertisements in National Geographic and Guideposts…

Only time we buy bottled water is when we are on a road trip, and then we try to find a McDonald’s to get Ice Tea.

Bottled water doesn’t have sodium and other things that tap water has.

At the end of May I buy several cases of bottle water for hurricane season as part of my emergency kit. When hurricane season ends in December, I start drinking the bottled water. Repeat the process May the next year.
