Strangely, it’s actually cooled down this week.

I tried that once on the bonnet of dad’s car back in 1982 in the South of France. Did not work. Perhaps I should have skipped the tinfoil and used a black car instead of a mustard coloured one.

A little pedantic on my part… but an omelette should be mixed… before cooking it…

I’ve done that as a kid in Tucson. Eggs turned out sort of grainy.

In my omelettes, I include black pepper, some crushed red pepper, and some rosemary in the beaten eggs. Then I pour that over some chopped green onions and cubed ham chunks.

In the western desert in WW2 both sides made films of soldiers cooking eggs on their tanks. Imagine having to climb inside those things and having to fight in that heat…….

Or … how about what it appears to be – a Fried Egg – Sunny-Side-Up?

That’s not an omelet—looks like a dippy egg to me.

An “omelet” is more than an egg you just fry. What’s shown would be sunny side up.

Overworking thin themes seems to be a pattern lately.

We’ve been having a nice summer in Michigan. Temps in the 80s, hot enough but not too hot.

It’s getting warmer here again, but the humidity won’t be as bad.

What a coincidence — I happen to be eating one right now! (But I used a skillet and a stove top.)

If it was really that hot, wouldn’t the egg slide down the sides of the rock?
