That’s nothing, I creak and crack all the time just by walking, it’s an old house, the floors are old wood boards, so I’m not sure if it’s the floor or me making noise, but still….
When I was in junior high I fell off a curb while running with my gym class. Something in the left ankle was torn – back then they did not know what, only that it was not broken. I had to stay off it for a while and then for quite some time I had to wear an ankle brace (fabric item) on it. (I did get out of gym class for the rest of the year.)
Since then my ankle will get uncomfortable and I have to rotate my ankle until I hear and feel the ankle “crack” to fix it.
I later did the same thing to my right ankle, but it is not as bad.

Old age, retirement, “the golden years”. Sure. The only gold I have left is/are my teeth.
