Savage’s got the best stuff! And great friends! He had a pal on last week who was showing off the design and build of a working light saber!

..only get a 3D Printer if you are willing to learn CAD. Without the ability to make the design for the object, the Printer itself is useless. (Fusion 360 is the best – and it’s free). You also need to learn how to use the Slicer software. Once again, free (Lychee)..

You can download the software required for 3D printing for free. You might want try to design something before purchasing. Some public libraries provide classes for software and access to 3D printers for material used cost. Most have other tools as well. Or you can join a makerspace in your area.

It helps when companies send you tools and stuff for free to have it shown and mentioned. Sorry. Don’t mind me ; I’m just jealous.

The voice of reason. There are work spaces you can rent tools and make stuff in.

Budget of time, space and money… I like the idea of renting tools, but taking the time to use them has to come from somewhere too…
