………’course, going from 6th grade to 6th grade “on an endless loop” without all the sojourns in summer school in between is kinda nice, too!! Glee! GLEE!!

Doesn’t Nate already stay in sixth grade? Ha ha ha!
ReneeZimbodgi over 9 years ago
Hmm, gee, I wonder what hasn’t happened…
K M over 9 years ago
Unfortunately, it’s pretty much a given that Nate will be promoted to 7th grade, regardless of his grades. That’s just what happens in government schools these days: Can’t fail a kid; it’ll destroy his fragile ego!

The irony, and fourth wall breaking, is so thick you can carve it with a knife.
BIGNATE#EPIC281 about 7 years ago
Deja vu. This looks familiar.

Oh, the irony…
Clayton72 about 6 years ago
francis said “hello, 4th wall” and vapourised it
To0tsie almost 6 years ago
Didn’t something like this happen and Francis made the same arguement but Nate asked him if the teachers would really pass up the chance to move him up to 7th grade?
UltraCharlie over 5 years ago
Wouldn’t it be funny if there was a comic about some kids in 6th grade, and even though they never realised it, they’d been around for 24 years?
Kool guy over 5 years ago
yet it is.
DevilDog2001 Premium Member over 5 years ago

HalberCon over 2 years ago
he arleady stays in sixth grade forever. niether are the smart kids like gina or francis . he is not even an adult, but if he did age, then his dad would soon die, he’ll be married, and do whatever adults do. in other words, the comic would be ruined and boring
MartyLikeIts1991 over 2 years ago
THIS COMIC EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. This is why Nate never goes on to 7th grade! But why is Francis still in 6th grade?
MatthewMukkala over 2 years ago
I love the awareness.
Slayer over 2 years ago
I cant tell if nate is breaking the 4th wall.
MattaisJones over 2 years ago

LOAFY over 2 years ago
Can’t decide if 4th wall break or dramatic irony. Either way, this is some mind bending humor here. Love it!
HanWoodson over 2 years ago

The three boys drop themselves off at their homes. Nate walks upstairs to his messy room, about to create another priceless edition of Ultra Nate.
Whilst sketching the comic, Nate inserts in some dialogue for Godzilla, Mrs. Godfrey’s alternative form. The dialogue reads:
“Years will pass, and you will still be in 6th Grade, Ultra Nate! Mwhahahahaha!”
Nate double-checks this piece of writing, going into a deep thought of curiosity as he reads it. Then, he realizes the dark truth:
He is in a comic. And years pass without him moving on to the 7th Grade, or aging whatsoever.
He swiftly dashes out of his house, worrying about his future and what lies ahead of it. He runs into P.S. 38, but instead of entering the school, he sets foot in a floating white void. The door to the outside world disappears, and Nate is now floating in the white void. He hears the voice of Lincoln Peirce, his ultimate creator.
“Well well well, you have figured out who you are, where you are, and what you are doing with your little life,” Peirce says with a smug on his face.
“Oh creator, you made my life a lie, but then again, I was created for this life!” Nate shouts.
“We shall go face-to-face in a duel against you and me, to determine your fate. If you lose, you shall go back to your surroundings, with no knowledge of this. If I lose, I release you and everyone into the real world,” Peirce promises.
“That is a deal I cannot decline, so I shall accept it,” Nate agrees.
They all get ready for their duel, the biggest duel ever of mankind. They rub the shiny, yet menacing blade of their swords. They sharpen the painful tip of them. They take their places. They meet eye-to-eye. Both prepared, they run at each other, thus starting the duel.
