This is probably the Scrabble player in me showing, but if Nate put a “C” in front of what is already on his forehead, he can go into sales when he gets older. Either that or be a doorman.

For those not old enough to know, Nate, in the first panel, is referencing Khan’s quote in the film “Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan” about “revenge being a dish that is best served cold.”

…..I trust that the boxing glove was “loaded”….with a brick or at least two pounds of stove bolts and nuts.

“Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan” was released in 1982. And, in the movie, Khan refers to the quote “Revenge is a dish that is best served cold” as a Klingon proverb. I’m sure it is a matter of science fiction flair, as the phrase has been around for decades.

Is this the first time ever that the sunday comic is a continuation from the last one? I’ve never seen that before.
