Alright, today im commenting like another commenter call het1. Here goesIts a shame Nate doesn’t use his intellect for school. Since he has the highest iq in his family, it should effortless for him. If he really tried, he could be smarter than Francis and Gina. Nate’s flaw however, is he lacks of judgement and common sense. If he used his i.q. (Intelligent Quotient) to his advantage, he may like school. As I was saying though, Nate can be a nutcase sometimes.

I actually thought this arc would end with an “Oh, how I hate her” but this works too.

Mission accomplished! To those who “called it”, “it” was pretty easy to figure out. The only possible surprise here is that Nate returned of his own accord, wanting to learn something.

I don’t know. I was once kicked out of class and made to sit in the library, and I sure didn’t want to go back. I find it hard to believe that Nate wouldn’t prefer sitting in the library and drawing his comics.

Mrs. Godfrey’s actually a good teacher. Look how she got the “normal” students excited about studying WW 2 by organizing a game show mockup, and she even got them excited about creating their projects. Now she’s got Nate volunteering to do better in class, although, in a real school, she wouldn’t have been able to try that psychology trick. I can just hear my principal and the librarian going on and on about “rules” and what I “can’t do” now.

I honestly am not surprised. If Mrs. Godfrey told Nate he could stay home, maybe, but he has to be in school, and he hates the library.

She’s really good at her work.

Something most pupils fail to realize or remember: For the majority of teachers, this isn’t their first rodeo. They know how to deal with difficult pupils. Nate wasn’t the first, and he likely won’t be the last.

I went to school because I didn’t have anything better to do with my time. Until I had enough credits to drop the first class because sleep is something better to do with my time.

Seems that the ending was evidently predictable.
