I’ve known a few guys like Scooter over the course of my fairly long life, and while they prospered for a time, their mistakes always seemed to catch up with them. A few ended up in prison, some just in big financial trouble. There’s an old expression that didn’t make sense to me the first time I heard it, but I came to understand it: “What goes around, comes around”. Scooter’s time is coming, we just don’t know when.

Is it bad that Nate reminds me of Bart Simpson?
