I’m almost sure that Mrs.Godfrey is gonna return in a week or two. Most Big Nate comics have a way of ruining the most perfect things.

its going to be a mistake and she’ll go back to 8th grade as that seems to be how things work in comic. Although if pierce does delay Mrs. godfrey return to 6th grade I can see some content coming

Good news, for Nate, good Star of the week!

It’s not going to stick. This series has done this idea a thousand times where it seems like Nate won’t have Mrs. Godfrey as a teacher anymore, but in the end she stays as Nate’s teacher. This arc is just going to be rehash.

I predict that Mrs. Godfrey will be moved back to teaching sixth grade by this Saturday, rendering the whole arc pointless

I was at Barnes & Noble today, and I saw one of the Big Nate books said “now an animated series on Nickelodeon”. The show hasn’t premiered yet, has it?

Dreadfully interesting plot twist to follow up this one: Nate somehow gets skipped ahead to 8th grade, so not only would he be in a whole different school realm, he would still have Mrs. Godfrey as his social studies teacher. That would be something to and not to hope for..

Worse things could happen. Godfrey could become the principal or the teacher in charge of detentions.

Nate’s hair just decided to ascend. Also prediction: Mrs. Godfrey has to return at some point, but this might last longer than the sub arc from 2003 or the Jefferson Arc. Or it might be ruined at the end of the week I’m not the simpsons.

….Nate is, of course, in his bed on a late August morning, dreaming…..a dream which any second will fly away, like an errant muse, into the remote unreachable (except briefly, in dreams….) corridors of his Id as wakefulness, alas, cruelly gains and the day begins……..

Until he makes it to the eighth grade, which will be never.

If he is still going to be in the 6th grade than this will be his first year in middle school and thus never had Mrs Godfrey.

It’s nice to have these storylines so that, when Nate asks about these sorts of things, there’s always a chance that he’s not entirely delusional. Adds more suspense and interest.
