This doesn’t even begin to make sense. When Nate dated Trudy, the seventh-graders laughed at Nate when he brought up Mrs. Godfrey and joked about how easy her class was compared to what they currently had. The eighth-graders almost certainly don’t care in the slightest about having Mrs. Godfrey.
