I’ve been practicing math for 80 years and I still duck.

I’m currently doing my math IGCSE prep, and I think I’ve improved a bit since the past 10 years or so. SPG has a good point, just the wrong person for him to talk to about that.

I have been told by many knitters “you should knit. There’s a lot of math and you like math.” I have not tried, and I don’t believe them.

When I was a kid, I didn’t do well in school, didn’t like it and didn’t study much. When I was older, I went to night school and studied a lot because it was important. Amazing how well I did.

I think why Big Nate is having a downfall is because nothing new happens. Most arcs have been repeated and this arc has been repeated because Artur has beat Nate several times. A new kind of arc could be Nate’s mom visiting or Sheila coming back. Anybody agree with me?

It is in reference to the 1970’s TV series Kung Fu starring David Carradine. The story is set in China and the American southwest of the late 1800s. As a young boy in China, young Chang was being taught by one of the Shaolin monks and was told to be patient. Grasshopper was his nickname when he was in training.

Don’t grip the needle like it’s trying to get away from you. It’s like crocheting, you hold the needle/hook snuggly, not with a death grip. While learning to knit (already know how to crochet), that’s what the teacher was trying to get through all of us that she was teaching.
