This doesn’t make sense to me. Gina’s liked Chad for a while, so how come now she suddenly cares if people like her? If she started liking Chad now, maybe it would make sense..

I’m going to think Chad never picked up Gina’s lovesick signals.

Aw shoot, here we go again.

and so, it continues… these ‘gina likes chad’ arcs are always going to be a good one.

I knew she didn’t actually want to improve. And why was she asking Dee Dee, someone with no relationship experience? Just Google “How to Get Guys to Like You”, Gina.

6/10 Well, at least now we out Gina back into character.

I should have known the “like” was used in a romantic sort of way

Strip rating: 8/10 This looks like it’s gonna be interesting, considering that Gina has had a crush on Chad for quite some time…

Seeing stuff like this makes me glad I’m single.

Gina liking chad AGAIN? really, but I am surprised on the 2 week arc.

….she had “the hots” for Chad sometime back, as I recall (her ponytail leaping straight up in the air is still a vivid image: I think it even made a “BOINNNGGGGG!!” sound)………

Now I wonder if they’ll help Gina get together with Chad, or if they’ll help Chad to avoid a future of sadness and submission to Gina.

I always thought Big Nate would always be the Seinfeld of comic strips…am I to disbelieve?

I honestly remember the day Gina and Chad’s romance arc started, I remember being hooked! Was a decade ago, if I remember correctly.

Which is sort of the problem with this strip. Is this meant to be a big surprise? I know that Gina’s crush on Chad isn’t the largest fixture of the series, but it’s not some earth shattering twist. And since this strip is going for drama, not comedy, I can’t rate is well.

2/10, as pointless as 25/3/2023 strip.
