At least that coach tried to motivate others.

I hope Martin throws the worst pitch ever for lying on his resume, that would be karma

I guess we have to find out tomorrow or next week if Mr. Wright will become an actual all-star or a no-star

Did Nate’s sister leave home?

Ah yeah, T-Ball. Baseball without a pitcher. Great call.

My predictions on what is going to happen on Monday:

FIRST PANEL

Marty: Here we go! First pitch of the game!

SECOND PANEL

Marty: throws ball whilst simultaneously cracking his back, messing up his hand form

THIRD PANEL

ball knuckles incredibly because of Marty’s horrible throw posture

Umpire: STRIKE ONE!

LAST PANEL

Crowd: goes wild

Marty: recovers

If we don’t see the pitch I am going to be so mad

I hate those conservations on the mound!!!!

Unfortunately, participation trophies weren’t a thing back then, so he was unable to bring that along.

Lincoln forgot one important detail or two:

When someone throws out the ceremonial first pitch, it’s customary to wear a jersey (which the thrower gets to keep, I assume) with the team name on the front, and the thrower’s first name on the back of it. Also, they wear a team ball cap.

Now we’ll have to wait until next week for the “exciting” conclusion to this arc.
