umm…please explain the significance of the year 1893. The play Peter Pan was written by J. M. Barrie in 1904 and was based on a minor character in a book Barrie wrote in 1902.
Kids had probably stopped thinking Peter Pan was cool by 1963 – that being 10 years after the Disney movie.
I suppose the under-10 crowd might still be into Peter Pan from reading bedtime stories, but not likely. Captain Hook, on the other hand, still seems to be a popular character in shows like Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Maybe too many saw the Disney film and winced at the depiction of the Native Americans.
