On National Suspenders Day, however, those who have counted on shoulder-sprawling elastic bands to keep their britches up pay homage to their time-honored belt alternative.
We're not really a suspenders crowd here in the GC offices, although we do see the benefit. Overalls are pretty similar and Mario and Luigi wear those, so we appreciate them by association.
We honor a garment we've yet to wear on this National Suspenders Day, knowing full well that we may have to put some on in our twilight years. Or maybe we'll just keep admiring them while dressed in yoga pants? Either way, here are comics about suspenders.
