Wait a minute FishDog93…who killed a balanced budget and put the country into trillions of dollars in debt? The Dems? Funny, I thought that the guys that did that were Republicans, the same as every other time the country has spent like a newly paid sailor on shore leave, leaving it to the Dems to clean up the mess and re-set the economy.
Somebody should look at which party really does all the spending, racks up the debt and gives all the revenue back to their buddies.News Flash – It’s the GOP!
This is a serious problem. Our current debt and the commitments we have made for social spending threaten to cripple our country’s finances down the road. President George W. Bush, to his credit, tried to address the problem. President Obama, to his shame, has made things worse.
Paying off Iraq and Afghan wars will indeed be a bitch, handed to you by “Project for a New American Century” (That’s Perle, Cheney, Rumsfeld, AEI and their friends like “W”, in case you didn’t know.)
Meh. The Republicans had their run during the Bush Administration. They ran up their own deficits and raised the debt ceiling 6 times in 8 years. They’re all hot and bothered now about debt and deficits, but it will go away just as soon as another Republican is elected President.
Unpaid wars one of which was sold as going to pay for itself, cut taxes from Reagan on up, crumbling infrastructure, cut educational funding, climate change, drought, polluted water and land, etc. these are what we are leaving to our children and future generations. We don’t want to pay our bill. Congress is in charge of the purse strings. We want the services but we don’t want to pay for them or take responsibility for our actions. Freeloaders.
Entitlement spending depends on how you look at it. The wealthy you are, or corporations you want spending on military. You want to defend your wealth, your way of life, your interests. The poor have very little interest or wealth to protect. Wanting a big military and unpaid for wars and not being will to pay for it by increase taxes is an entitlement of the wealthy. Corporations and wealthy individuals hide their money oversea because they don’t want to pay for the protection they expect from the USA. I guarantee if another world war breaks out that money would come flooding back to the US to hide behind a military they have not been willing to pay the maintenance for. That is an entitlement.
Yeah there was a bunch of democrats that were cowards, but there were a number that were outspoken against the war. You know those liberals you hate. So let’s blame the democrats for the wars or was it Bush and company that pushed the wars and both house were held by Republicans.Congress instituted the Majority Congressional Approval to approve a deceleration of war. No war has ever been declared since. Military actions by presidents only. Authorization for Use of Military Force- Against Iraq Resolution Senate Vote 48 Republican for 1 against. 29 Democrats for 21 against, 1 independent socialist against. My Senator voted against the war and was outspoken and is hated as a liberal.

“Mr. President, since your administration began, we have added $10 Trillion to the national debt. What has all that money bought us?”
Obama: “Uhhhhh…. Ummmmm…. Next question please.”

Whereas the Elephant strategy is “cut taxes without regard for anything else, then still wind up in debt AND have nothing to show for it.”

The party of excess spending is … the Republicans AND the Democrats. The difference is ON WHAT they spend the money. Vote all the bums out.
