A funny cat meme is going around. 3 different pictures of the same cat, sleeping through a tornado, an explosion and a car crash outside. But someone in the kitchen opens the cat treat bag, and boy, he’s wide awake and alert, and on his way there. :)

The cats lose interest once they realize they aren’t getting food. The females with kittens turn back sooner because of those kittens. Males might wander further, but might also be providing protection for their offspring from other males.

And at the meeting of the two groups, violence did ensue…

The Pied Opener of Hamelin!

I feed my cats wet food that come in pouches or little containers with peel off tops. I rarely use my electric can opener, so they are not conditioned to it.

Show meow you use that.

Looks like a feast is in order…….for the cats.

Aaaaaand, the Cats and the Rats go marching two by two…

They needed the piper because they had killed all the cats due to superstitions about the devil and cats being familiars for witches. The rat population soared and so did the death count from the Plague. We have a clowder of five and have no rodent or other little critter/pest, problem. I checked the catio this morning and there was a mouse carcass along with the remains of some stupid bird. I was sort of disappointed because no one had presented us with either of them.

Now the cats can have a real feast.

Laughed out loud.

Maybe the can opener runs on static electricity?!
