Angus the Firefly. Few could tell you how he came by that nickname, but everyone knew that he had earned it.

That’s the “firefly “ Iggy mentioned following a few days ago and we thought “ firefly in late October? What gives?” That’s Angus with his lantern !

So that’s what all those ghost lights really are! :D

Ha! I just noticed that Violet and Natasha are still wearing their hospital gowns (right after they escaped from the lab). It makes sense, everybody else is shown as they were when they first made it to the BPH.

This is an awesome arc, one of the best ever. Great way to wrap up October which has not been the best month for many along the SunCoast. I love any appearance by Angus, what a loving gentleman he is and it is good to see the Robber Mice; I have been a bit surprised that they did not run into Beatrix and her new friends in the old wing of the Big Pink House. Nonetheless, it looks like it is all coming together for an amazing ending. Happy Halloween, All Hallows Eve, Dia De Muertos, All Saints Day and All Souls Day to everyone! Now I am going to try and see if I can stay up and watch Voyage to The Bottom of the Sea and Land of the Giants on MeTV. Thanks for a great October storyline Georgia!

Aww! All the stray and abandoned cats finding their way, Tommy waving hello, Angus showing the way, their benefactor’s picture in the attic, it’s all touched me right in the tear ducts.

This is absolutely beautiful! Georgia really knows how to play the long game, to the point that she can perfectly incorporate Sundays and reference the strip’s history and it all comes together so fantastically. She has such a talent with characters as well, and I will continue to appreciate more Angus.

Actually, it Can get better than this, when Sammy’s lying on me in bed. Right now, though, she’s eaten breakfast, Her Chair is next to and touching mine at the table where I’m having coffee. Still dark outside. Sammy looks up at me while I’m rubbing her ears and jaw; I slow blink at her, she slow blinks back and purrs. It’s Heaven!

Well, that wasn’t really spooky at all.

So much the better. :D

I didn’t notice the ears on the ghost cat immediately. We have a 17 year old blue Fold named Otis.

I vaguely remember a kerfuffle over Buzzy Mouse a few weeks ago. I do not remember if any sort of consensus came of it from the readers, however, I did find another Georgia Gem on the other site that I am currently procrastinating on. Bea: That’s right. Here’s the script of The Enchanted Pyramid.

Enter Battle-Scarred Sailor and Plain-Looking Kitty

Sailor: I’m Iggy Seagoer. I’m renting this pyramid after a terrible accident ended my seagoing days.

Plain Kitty: And I’m Ora Plain, the new maid.

Mrs. Mewnitt, the Housekeeper: Welcome to the Enchanted Pyramid. It is my hope that your stay here will be most life-changing.

Iggy: Wonder what she meant by that. Is this place haunted?

Mrs. Mew: It is not haunted. It is enchanted by the spirits of those who have found joy here.

Is this really the end of this arc? I believe this will segue into the introduction of the new cats to the Woman and the Man and Elvis, Puck , Lupin and Goldie. Who gets along with who? And who has a contentious relationship ala Lupin and Goldie? There are so many possibilities that I can see this continuing all the way to the end of the year.

I just noticed the lantern is the same one in the newest card.

How bizarre. A Kitty Campfire Tales that fits into the main story arc. So now we know A ghost led the undead and the werewolf to the BPH.

I think this one hit harder than the original, pre-GoComics Halloween Special. Which hit harder than anything since the original, pre-GoComics Christmas Special. I was so not prepared for this.

AWW, now everyone here has an idea of why dear sweet kitties show up to their homes as they are being guided there :-)

Why are you all making my screen so blurry?!

There are a lot of homeless cats and dogs out there. I just wished I could take in some more cats, but in my declining years I can’t. But, I do donate to the shelters. That’s the best I can do.

Okay this is one neck of a reveal I didn’t see coming. The ghosts have been leading the cast here this whole time. Im…not sure how I feel about it

Just got done carving a couple of jack-o-lanterns. One a regular jack-o-lantern pumpkin, nice and large, the other a little snowbaby ghost pumpkin. REALLY wished I had my seven year old niece helping me on the snowbaby. Could have used her little hands to clean it out. I’m not the tallest guy around, about average height, but my hands were a little too large for an easy time cleaning the pumpkin to care it. Looked like I was wearing Roman Republic/Empire boxing gloves when I could get my hand inside. And it’s so small it takes a tea light to light it.

My daughter told me she saw a grey tabby kitten on the porch yesterday. We keep food, water, and a cathouse on the front porch and it looks like another kitten has found it. Looks to be 6-8 months old and ran when Jora moved closer to the window to get a better look. I’m betting she’s the one who dragged out the old skirt I had put in the cathouse. I’ll have to stuff it back in tomorrow.

This one made me cry, seeing Tommy and Beatrix and Goldie and the Robber Mice.
