It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news that dear, kind, warm, sweet Trevor passed away yesterday. He was 13 years old and in those 13 years dearly loved by everyone who knew him; most especially by his Woman Amy.
Trevor started out life as working border collie, but was let go from his farm when he preferred napping with the sheep rather than telling them what to do and where to go. Amy and her family adopted him from a border collie rescue, and he trotted amicably and shyly at her side from then on. A quieter, calmer dog with a sweet and anxious disposition, Trevor has taught all of us that some dogs enjoy nothing more than the peace of a starry evening and one’s favorite treats, in the comfort of a night well spent with friends.
Trevor had a good, long life and was a friend to everyone he met. He was the sweetest, kindest dog I’ve ever known. I’m so grateful that Amy shared him with us, in real life and in the comic. I love you Amy, I’m so sorry for your loss. What a terrific boy he was.
Trevor was not just a good boy, he was a great boy.
