Will Sophie remain sad? Will she still be blue? On the contrary, she NOPE, NOPE, NOPE’D her way into the sunshine.

Sophie is just not the kind of pers…er, cat that can stay blue for long. Not with friends like Tommy to help her out. (And of course kitty bean prints help a lot!)

Everyone needs a paintbrush bigger than they are. I want one.

I’m glad she’s better. Tommy is an excellent friend.

A cat whose name, Sophie, means “Wise”

Found her beau wasn’t much of a prize.

She decided a “Nope”

She’s painting herself with an enormous smile.

I presume she’s painting with acrylics, since she has opaquely painted right over the previous painting of Wesley the clueless.

Sophie wears the prettiest clothes! ✿♥‿♥✿ Her painting is so vibrant and full of, well, her! And I love those painted paw prints on the right side. Her signature perhaps? ❤

Many, many, (many?) years from now, art historians will discover that like many before her, Sophie reused canvases and painted over previous work. Many a dissertation will be written over the symbolism of the cheese wedge, and, who the mysterious figure was.

That is a great self-portrait. As much as I like Gutter and Tommy, I’ve found the healthiest thing after a breakup or romantic disappointment is to enjoy being with yourself, not jump at something new.

I’m so excited! I just picked up the first BCN collection book from the library. Now I can start from the beginning! (Yes, I know I can do that here too, but this will be easier.)

Ah, she’s painting over the big blue Wesley?

My apartment complex had some excitement yesterday. A horse walked through. Turns out a health care facility nearby was having a Kentucky Derby Party. One of the aides brought her horse. While she was unloading her off the trailer a lawn mower went by and spooked her. So she took off. The owner tried to catch her but ended up having a bad asthma attack and had to go to the hospital. The horse made her way to our complex. The maintenance man managed to grab her by the mane and the manager brought a rope to put around her neck. The police and the Department of Public Works came. Finally someone from the heath care came with the trailer. But Ally was having nothing to do with it. Took over an hour to finally get her loaded. Pics and video on my Facebook page.

Glad to see Sophie out of her funk. And it’s all thanks to Tommy.
