I hope Georgia does an update involving the kittens. I imagine Ora Zella would love to knock the flower off the top of its head.

Of course Goldie is going to smack the cactus, she’s a reporter in the tradition of Lois Lane, Brenda Starr, and Sarah Jane Smith.

A big rule in my house growing up was we couldn’t reject something until we’ve tried it once. Puck, Lupin, and Elvis are reminiscent of us as kids being obstinate without having the practical experience to back it up.

Not something that works on regular cacti, but it’s worth a shot.

    Meanwhile, Back on the Nile

    At the Royal Palace

Violet-Ifa: Alice, I think planning for Thomios’ Chalk and Cheese buffet might be a good topic for the next Cheese Taking seminar.

    Alice-Ata: Do you have details?

Vi: Thomios wants to have a charcuterie buffet where participants may partake while making pictures with pastels.

Alice: A bit of alliteration there.

Vi: We have to include pecorino.

Alice: I’m sure we can procure some.

    At the Royal Kitchen

Sue Chef: Did you hear giggling?

Thomios: I think we can go ahead with plans for the Chalk and Cheese buffet.

    At the Nile Harbor

Ta-Natash: Ahoy Fisher Cats! I see you’re going on a fishing run. Can you take a passenger aboard?

Salt Water Cat: Certainly. The procurers are welcome any time.

Tash: I see you have a bit of rigging to fix. I’ll bet you have just the cat to make the fix.

Iggy: I think I hear the voice of a procurer! Is that you, Tash?

Tash: It’s me. And with any luck we’ll have a lovely seafood supper this evening.

Okay, cat’s and kittens, that appears to be a saguaro cacti, and as such it is edible. In the wild, you would only eat the fruit of this particular cacti, however since you are in the living room then the rules change. We all know you guys are always on the prowl for food, so chow down, pig out, and let’s get on with this.
