So many toebeans! Toebeans in two different panels! All four feet toebeans! OMC, I’m going to faint from EEEEing. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I’ve never owned a cat that stuck to a screen. I owned one once that kept trying to jump through it, but her depth perception was off and she’d miss by justhismuch and end up on the floor, but no stickers.
Previous cat “Air” Rascal, the plus size tabby, decided to make a run, or leap, for it one day when house painters had finished for the day and left some windows open. Of course he got out, only to be stuck in a sudden rainstorm. When the husband and I got home Rascal was nowhere to be seen. We searched everywhere, then turned to look at the back door. All 4 paws were attached to the screen door. Husband pried Rascal off the screen, towel dried him, and he slipped away to nurse his pride. He caught a slight cold but sadly he never did tell us about his adventure in the great outdoors.
I have a picture of squirrels on the outside of the screens and Holmes playing spider-cat on the inside of the screens. I’ve posted these on Instagram. I also have the bills to prove that screens are NOT indestructible.
It’s a good thing that they just tighten all the screens or Lupin would either be falling backward into the room or falling into that construction workers face
A few years ago, I learned there’s something called “Pet Screen.” It’s screen made of extra-heavy material, so it’s hard for animals to tear it up. Pet Screen is more expensive than regular screen, but worth it for people with indoor cats.
During a discussion of chocolate chip cookies recently I mentioned that my favorite “store bought” cookies were Famous Amos. I was sad to read that Wallace Amos Jr., founder of Famous Amos cookies, died from complications of dementia. Rest in peace, Mr. Amos. Thanks for the cookies!

Time for the bouncing Toebean competition! My money is on Ora Zella. Although, Leapin’ Lupin is the reigning champ. Just look at that rotation!

Our kitty used to love jumping on screens. Unfortunately for her, her claws would get stuck in them.

I love that the construction worker is making a heart at Lupin.

The worker may be questioning whether the pretty white kitty is really a princess…

Stuck, it’s true
He’s got this feeling down deep in his soul that it won’t come loose
Guess he’s safe today
Fixed by a friend ❤️
And the way OZ looks I guess she’ll be with him as she intends
Guess she’s on her way
Mighty glad it stayed!

I love the little heart in panel 2 and how Lupin is so obviously touched by the builder’s words.

Ohhhh, it’s very tempting to head over to the BPH just to boop Lupin’s nose through the screen, and maybe even tickle some toe beans, too.

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Wally (Awhil-Fixit the Seventh): There. Now the game room shelf is safe for storage and climbing.
Iron Glove: Even Elvis-Anum wouldn’t mind climbing that shelf.
Wally: I wouldn’t go quite that far.
Enter Beatrixia
Bea: Beautiful job, guys. Her Majesty would like to hold a game night in the near future.
Iron Glove: I would love to play Hounds and Jackals.
Wally: And of course we have to have plenty of Senet boards.
Bea: Not to mention plenty of paw food.
Iron Glove: The Good Ship Red Planet Spider will be in port for a few weeks. Let’s ask the crew what they’d like to play.
Bea: Great idea!

That Lupin. He gots such a angel face eh.
…
Windows that works like a springboards
And yours wall shelfs all crowded owl-vase
Know Lupin with his angel face
And a woman who was petting on his meows
Cross the tables he jumped
Down the hallways he slide
He left behind a trail of destruction
For his life was guided
By his brute force paw
He only had a mind to cause chaos
Waters, you knows how’s his story
And his sleeping below the fountains on sink
Ohhhh Lupin
Had a angel face
But whenever Lupin leaped, Lupin destroyed
(Brief musical interlude)
Ohhhh Lupin
Had a angel face
But whenever Lupin leaped, Lupin destroyed.
…
To the tune of “Angel Face”, from “A Pistol For Ringo” a.k.a. “Ballad of Death Valley” 1966. Composer Ennio Morricone.
