Easy solution is to decrease the Higgs Boson field on at least 17 percent of the sky scrapers thereby reducing the gravity of the situation!

Start by removing gold toilets from a certain tower.

This reminds me of how mountains such as the Himalaya Mountains also push down and sink down into the earth because of their weight.

Given that the Statue of Liberty is on an entirely different island that’s not in New York, maybe try something else. Now that fewer people are commuting into the city, there’s a good chance we could spare a few skyscrapers.

New York City is actually built on swamp land. So many small creeks feed into it that water has to be constantly pumped out. When Manhattan was bought for trinkets, probably the sellers chuckled at how they had outsmarted the stupid settlers by selling them worthless swampland.
