Another great example of privatization. So much cheaper and efficient to pay a big company.

Stranded? They’re experienced astronauts who get to spend several more months doing what they love to do!

No change of clothes and no way to wash them. That station will need to be aired out after they leave.

The safer version sung at my school was “If one of those bottles should happen to fall, 98 bottles of beer on the wall.” With no gravity, they probably won’t sing that version.

Don’t remember where I heard it – but I like the idea that we have until then to distribute 8 billion gorilla costumes for the ultimate prank

This wouldn’t be a problem if we’d build a space elevator. Just don’t give Boeing the contract to build it.

I wonder if she has enough birth control pills, or he has enough condoms? Maybe one or both are sterile. Inquiring minds want to know.

I have to wonder: what about food? Do they stock enough rations for that long? And where do they dump all that sewage?

I hope they’re really good friends now, and after 6 more months of nothing but themselves to rely on for entertainment, they are still good friends.

The problem is that there are nine astronauts, but only seven seats on the craft that they might need to evacuate.

I do hope that they get time and a half for their extended stay, but probably not, no Astronaut Union.

    1) Not “stranded”, the GET to stay longer.2) they’re professional astronauts, this is what they’ve dreamed of all their lives.3) They aren’t alone, they’re part of the crew on board.
