    Actually, praying mantis insects do a better job of keeping mosquitos away. How do I know this? I spent about a year on the island of Guam. Loaded with mosquitos. I got bitten pretty often the first few weeks I was there, till I discovered that putting several praying mantis on my clothing, and on my hat, gave me complete immunity!

    we don’t have many mosquitoes in these parts so dragonflies eat small birds instead…
