That’s true love, not to disturb the fine dreams of Hobbes and better freeze for himself, bravo Calvin!

Those pillows are big enough, Calvin. Just crawl inside the pillow case and snuggle between the pillow and Hobbes.

Calvin overhears Hobbes conducting an undercover operation, and it has a chilling effect on Calvin.Today’s strip is from 1993. Calvin is only six, but Calvin and Hobbes have been fighting over the covers for seven years, since 1986:Click here: Calvin and Hobbes (August 27, 1986)Click here: Peanuts (March 6, 1955)Click here: Peanuts (December 3, 1960)Click here: Peanuts (February 26, 1961)Click here: Ziggy (September 14, 1976)

Reminds me of an old cartoon I saw. It showed two termostats on the wall. They were marked “His” and “Hers.” One of them had standard temperature gradients. The other had two markings “Too Hot” and “Too Cold.”

MY wife and I once had a dual-control electric blanket. One night we accidentally switched the controls. Once that system starts to go out of balnace, it just keeps getting more exteme like the proverbial snowball rolling down the hill

She was getting colder, so she was turning up my heat. I was getting hotter so I kept turning down her heat. I was about ready to spontaneously combust by the time I figured it out.

Thankfully, I’ve got the covers to myself without anybody hogging them! I can’t sleep very well when people snore either.xxx

When I was a young girl, my small dog would sleep with me and sometimes I’d wake up with just a sliver of space on my side. He’d be all snuggled up against me, and I’d be practically falling off the bed. So as not to disturb him, I’d get out of bed and get back in on the other side.

On the other hand, like snakemama, I have two cats that like to sleep on my bed and they place themselves so that I can’t roll over without disturbing them! LOL

This actually kind of explains the after-school ambush thing. If Hobbes didn’t do that every week, one day his hunt instinct would probably overwhelm him and then he’d do some real damage.
