…and a gherkin and some chips.
May Susi also have a little piece of bread, will there stay a little piece for her??
Hobbes, did anyone ever tell you that you have a one-track mind?
Susie Derkins, may not want a gherkin pickle.
And sprouts for Susie
So much for smooches, tuna-breath!
True cat. Cupboard love. (Item: I like cats. I just know them very well. I also like dogs. And horses. And guinea pigs, and birds, and fish…I don’t see why we have to choose up sides.)
Oh, Hobbes, you’re stuffed already!
LOL- “Mouth full of broken teeth”. Could you even get away with saying that, today? Hilariously vicious remark from Calvin.
Why do some people say “tuna fish” instead of just “tuna”? Do they say “salmon fish” and “halibut fish”? Is there some other tuna species I don’t know about, like “tuna bird” or “tuna dog” that requires the “fish” added on for clarification? (Yes, I have a lot of time on my hands).
They end up giving her a [####] [####].
I really need to stop spoiling these story arcs.
Calvin should read today’s Garfield for a warning of what Hobbes really thinks!
Hobbes has the idea of ‘re-gifting’ down to an art.
Calvin is so nasty…..wonder where he got it from?
I love Hobbes!
Hobbes is the smartest character in the strip.
“…mouth full of broken teeth”? I know he’s only a little boy but…lighten up, Calvin!
Tuna fish sandwich?
Isn’t that how Calvin caught Hobbes?
I know this is unrelated but when Calvin mentioned teeth in the 2nd panel, I remembered that I’ve had dreams of my teeth falling out which is apparently a fear of getting older.
But in reality, I’ve lost 4 teeth (excluding my baby teeth) at the dentist when I had to have them removed.
Instead of tuna, why don’t you, TUNE up a birthday song? (I’m not sorry for that joke….)
where ya been, Susie D?
